The Caja Rural-Seguros RGA is a Spanish men’s road cycling team. Active since 2010, it has been licensed by the UCI Professional Continental Team since 2011.
Directed by Juan Manuel Hernández, the Pamplona team achieved its first UCI race victories in its first year of professional activity. In 2010, their wins include two stages at the Volta a Portugal, one at the Vuelta Ciclista a León and one at the Cinturó de l’Empordà, in which they conquered the general classification. In the following years, the team raced mainly in Spain, with two wins in 2011 and two victories at the Vuelta a Castilla y León. That year, the Caja Rural received its first invitation to the Vuelta a España, winning the Lagos de Covadonga stage with Antonio Piedra. In 2013, the team won the prestigious Tour de l’Avenir, while in 2014 and 2015 the Spanish team took home two consecutive climber rankings at the Vuelta a España.
Starting from the 2021 season, the Caja Rural Seguros RGA will take to the streets on Ursus wheels. For the competitive events on their Guerciotti racing bikes, riders will have our MIURA TS EVO series (TS37, TS47 and TS87 EVO disc) and Gauro disc at their disposal to complete the time trial setup. For the training sessions, the Pamplona team can count on the new Orion disc wheels.
