Racing bike wheels
What can you expect from a pair of racing wheels? Reliability, control and aerodynamic design.
You will find these three features in all Ursus carbon and aluminium road racing wheels. The Ursus product range includes entry-level aluminium models to carbon wheels for racing bikes used by professional racing teams.
The Ursus catalogue includes road, triathlon, time trial, gravel, etc. wheels: cyclists can choose the model that best matches their characteristics to optimise their performance in competition.
How our racing bike wheels are made
All our carbon and aluminium wheels are designed and created in-house by Ursus R&D, and are manufactured at our factory in Rosà, Italy
The initial prototype is constantly improved based on feedback from our ambassadors and pro teams that choose Ursus products. We use the best technologies to provide our customers—both professionals and amateurs—with the highest quality products that meet their needs.
Why choose Ursus racing wheels
Our racing wheels include high-, medium- and low-profile wheels, as well as lenticular wheels for time trial. This range of products has different and well-defined characteristics to optimise aspects of athletic performance.
We choose high-quality materials for both carbon and aluminium racing bike wheels. We select lightweight materials, with a state-of-the-art, aerodynamic design. Our UD monocoque carbon fibre wheels receive a special extra treatment to prevent the braking surface from overheating and to make the carbon stronger and more durable in competition.
Our wheels come with Ursus hubs equipped with high smoothness Ceramicspeed® ball bearings to minimise mechanical wheel resistance while pedalling.
Ursus road bike wheels are made with a particular focus on environmental sustainability to reduce CO2 emissions and shorten the material supply chain.
